David Hidalgo and Louis Perez are the founding members and principal songwriters of Los Lobos, the legendary band from East LA that has defined Chicano rock and roll for the past 20 years. Los Lobos topped the charts with their 1987 reprise of Richie Valens' "La Bamba" and continue to be one of Southern California's greatest concert draws.
